Ukraine - 750 kV Zaporizhzhia - Kahovska Transmission Line
The present project is part of the Energy Strategy of Ukraine to 2030 and is aimed at improving the regional power system efficiency, stability and reliability on the Crimean peninsula. It consists of the construction of a 750 kV OHL from Zaporizhzhia Substation to the new Kakhovska Substation and related 330 kV connections, as follows:
- Construction of a 190 km of 750 kV transmission line between Zaporizhzhia NPP and Kakhovska Substation with fibre optic and maintenance workshop
- Construction of a new 750/330/220 kV Substation at Kakhovska, with two 1000 MVA automatic transformers and automatic control system
- Constructing the diversion of the existing 330 kV Novokakhovska - Ostrovska line (2 x 27 km), incl. rehabilitation of the 330 kV Ostrovska Substation, replacement of relay protection and automatics, communication devices, the construction of a control unit at Novokakhovska Substation and the installation of the fibre-optic system Novokakhovska - Kakhovska
- Constructing the diversion of the existing 330 kV Novokakhovska - Kherson line (2 x 15 km), incl. rehabilitation of the 330 kV Khersonska Substation, and the installation of the fibre-optic system from Kakhovska - Khersonska

Uganda - 10 MW PV Solar Project in Tororo District
The Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO) invests into a 10 MW PV solar power project to be developed, owned and operated by the company Tororo Solar North Ltd. (TSN). FMO contracted the services of a consultant to carry out lenders' technical, environmental and social due diligence of the project, construction supervision and monitoring of operational performance.

Mali - Implementation of the National Dispatching Centre
The multiplication of generation sources, the future development of the national transmission network and its interconnection to neighbouring countries require modern means of dispatching so as to facilitate, stabilise and optimise its operation. The construction of a national dispatching centre on the site of Lafiabougou Substation in Bamako has to be seen in this context.
The Consultant's mission generally aims at controlling and managing the related budget, the quality and the implementation period of works. It shall assure the correct realisation of the National Dispatching Centre through the implementation of all necessary site works.

Montenegro - Lastva - Pljevlja Transmission Line Project
Technical assistance and support to CGES' PIU in connection with the procurement process and construction / implementation of the following equipment and measures:
- Lot 1: construction of a 400/110/35 kV GIS substation and extension of an existing 400/220/110 kV substation
- Lot 2: construction of 35 km each of 400 kV double and single circuit lines, a 4 km diversion of an existing 110 kV line and the dismantling of 6 km of 400 kV line
- Lot 3: construction of 120 km of 400 kV transmission line (partly d.c.), one 5 km and one 6 km diversion of existing 110 kV lines, and the dismantling of 10 km of 110 kV line
Certain sections of the lines are in high-mountain regions (2,000 m above sea level).

Mongolia - New Turbine for Darkhan Thermal Power Plant (DTPP)
The existing Darkhan Thermal Power Plant is a coal-fired steam power plant with a total capacity of 50 MW. Its sole purpose is to supply electricity, process steam and heat to surrounding industrial consumers and to the city of Darkhan. It comprises of the following installations:
- Nine boilers, each with a capacity of 75 t/h at 440ºC and 39 barat
- Four extraction steam turbines each with a capacity of 12 MWel
- An associated auxiliary and ancillary plant
The project comprises consulting services for:
- Erecting a new turbine house and control room
- The supply and installation of a new 35 MWe extraction condensing turbine
- The supply and installation of related steam turbine instrumentation and control
- The supply and installation of high-pressure and cooling water pipelines, a new cooling tower, and of electrical equipment for the 0.4, 6, 35 and 110 kV systems of the plant
- The supply and installation of two new 40 MVA transformers

Niger - PV Hybridization of Diesel-Based Mini-Grids in Niger
The Government of Niger has been striving to increase electricity access and has set an ambitious goal of increasing the access rate to 60% by 2027. The objective of this assignment is to conduct the feasibility study of the hybridization with PV and expansion of access to electricity of several existing diesel-based isolated grids throughout Niger and managed by NIGELEC.
