For several years now and in parallel with specific consulting work, the high qualified and international active experts of intec Romania (ROENG) participated to the elaboration and modernisation of technical Standards and Norms for planing and design of High Voltage (HV) Overhead Lines.

This has been done both in CIGRE Romania Conference on Condition Monitoring, Diagnosis and Maintenance  and in the Romanian National Standard Comitee no. 165 – ASRO. The results of these activities and performance over 10 years was concretised this year, when a new standard was finally aproved.  This new standard deals with all technical aspects for Overhead Electrical Lines exceeding  AC 1 kV – Part 2-24 National Normative Aspects (NNA) for Romania – SR EN 50341-2-24:2019 - (based on european Standard EN 50341-1:2012.

In this period and connected to the above mentioned subject, the interdisciplinary team headed by Dr. Gheorghita and consisting of Mr. Daniel Mărginean, Mrs Elena Mateescu and Mr. Adrian Copoiu participated to CIGRE conferences and working groups with more than 25 articles/publications, scientific brochures, books and tutorials  on diafragms for lattice steel supports, very large Overhead Line crossings, mechanical performance of non-conventional conductors or general guidelines for HV Direct Curent Lines design.

We congratulate our colleague Dr. Georgel Gheorghita, Managing Director of Branch intec Romania, for this professional success which shows that our company combines the daily project work with technical research and finally places us in the first rank of technic in Europe.
