Under Climate and energy theme, GOPA - International Energy Consultants is organizing a session on “Potential role of Green Hydrogen: analysis in three African countries: Egypt, Ghana and Kenya" during the European Development Day 2022. This session will present a concrete contribution of Green Hydrogen to Energy Transition and will present how green hydrogen could be produced/used in these countries.
The presented results are based on a study financed by the African Development Bank and implemented by GOPA - International Energy Consultants GmbH and Hamburg University of Technology. The project is based on a rigorous evidence-based approach.

This session will be concluded by a presentation of co-funded pre-investment studies for green hydrogen projects co-financed by the EU-DG for International Partnerships and the Chilean International Cooperation Agency for Development (AGCID).
