We are very pleased to announce our cooperation with the African Development Bank (AfDB) to investigate the potential of Green Hydrogen development in Africa.
intec will conduct the study, as a component of the ‘Scaling Up Renewable Energy Program’ (SREP), in three African countries with rich renewable energy resources. Case studies will be developed to illustrate how the transition to Green Hydrogen could contribute to long-term zero-emission strategies, and climate resilient development.
Additionally, intec will highlight best working practices, the challenges and lessons learnt in the context of transitioning to Green Hydrogen: considering its supply chain, storage and necessary infrastructure. A transition framework will also be provided considering various technical, social and distributional impacts.
