Indonesia - Energizing Development (EnDev) Programme / MHPP²: Technical Inspection of Centralised Solar Power Plants (2013)

The MHPP² subcomponent of the Energizing Development (EnDev) Programme carries out five main activities for micro-hydropower: policy advice, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, pilot projects, and information dissemination. It has been extended to include other renewable sources as well, in the present case centralised solar power plants (solar PV-based mini grids) - Establishment of a quality assur-ance system to secure a long-term operation of the plants; Technical inspection of 117 plants (verification of installed components, random check of performance); On-site individual training of plant operators; Concept and delivery of five regional 2-day technical training-of-trainers courses
